This is posted mostly for our Texas families that really don't get to see this white stuff much. This was our backyard last Sunday morning. It warmed up and was melted by late afternoon, but it sure did have the kids drooling for more so they would have enough to make snow forts, etc. Patience. The snow will come, children, it definitely will come.

Holy cow! Ya, that was definitely not what our area looked like last Sunday. LOL We went to the fair yesterday and it was so hot! Not like a typical Texas summer hot, but the normal October hot...like 80 something degrees. We usually get one of those snow days a year...where it melts by the afternoon. But that's it. Thanks for the picture! How funny to see white stuff in October!
